Hailing from one of Pittsburgh’s highest rated salons, Karen spent five years honing her craft and loving every moment of salon life. Committed to her dream, she soared from apprentice to a top stylist. Her salon reputation expanded among the city while she garnered runway and editorial experience. Advanced education through Paul Mitchell, Sassoon Academy, and Arrojo sent Karen to America’s many fashion hubs from coast to coast. In 2014, Karen auditioned for the elite team of Paul Mitchell National Educators and discovered the beauty of empowering local salons with the techniques that make her successful behind the chair. In 2016, the years of dreaming materialized; her salon was born. And though it owns her life at the moment, Karen enjoys other things, such as wine, art, California, WWII history, and self-deprecating humor!
